Volunteer Opportunties
Welcome!
Southside Medical Center’s (SMC) comprehensive array of services provides a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Like our staff and patients, SMC volunteers represent a variety of ages, cultures and backgrounds.
Volunteers who are at least 16 years of age, in good health and can commit to a minimum of 15 hours of volunteer work per month are encouraged to apply.
By assisting staff, our volunteers are actively involved in supplementing services provided to patients, thereby enhancing patient care and creating a friendly environment. Volunteers help patients experience a higher level of warmth and caring.
We work hard to ensure your volunteer time is fulfilling and rewarding by creating a positive climate and providing each volunteer with meaningful and challenging assignments. If you would like to apply for volunteer opportunities at Southside Medical Center,
